“My work is concentrated on painting and collage, and focuses on the interaction of ordering systems placed against a background of natural elements. My materials include acrylic, charcoal, oil pastel, tape and paper, and the application of these is one of layering, peeling, dripping. Throughout the layers I place marks and notations indicative of rational processes. The surface that results reveals a history of both the physical activity and thought process that occurs in the making of the work.”
